Programmes
Four programmes working together in the same 120 villages. A child in our learning centre often has a mother in a self-help group and a grandmother who comes to the health camp.
Benipur & Bahadurpur blocks · Since 2014
Keeping children in school, and learning.
32 after-school learning centres help children from Class 1 to 12 keep up in school. We also pay fees, uniforms and books for children who would otherwise leave.
Keoti & Jale blocks · Since 2016
A doctor within reach of every village.
We run health camps every month in villages at least 15 km from a clinic. We also give free medicines, arrange hospital referrals and provide nutrition support for mothers and infants.
Hayaghat & Singhwara blocks · Since 2017
Skills, savings and a steady income.
Six-month tailoring and digital-skills courses, self-help groups that save together and give each other loans, and buyers for the products the women make.
Baheri & Manigachhi blocks · Since 2019
Trees that survive, water that stays.
Native-tree planting that we track for three years, reviving village ponds, and waste segregation with households. The work is planned and done by village women's groups.
Every contribution is acknowledged with an official donation receipt within 7 working days.
